we defend deeper, it will be interesting to see how they do against that but I guess they had that last season too. Clearly going to concede a lot but they've looked good at the other end.

Good half from Leeds but very naive defensively and would have been punished more by that Liverpool front line in their pomp.

Impressed by the number of players Leeds commit to their attacks - it’s fairly low risk as they have 4 or 5 players playing off the shoulder for the ball over the top - if it’s over-hit then they can just get back into position.

Shocking defending at times from Liverpool though, they clearly weren’t expecting Leeds to commit so many into their attacks.

Indeed! I'm not sure their approach will pay dividends over the course of the season, it's entertaining I'll give them that, but I can't see them surviving playing in such a manner, they might prove me wrong, but teams rarely manage to come up from the Championship and stay up when shipping buckets of goals, it's almost like they've taken the Bournemouth mantra, and attack is the best form of defence, but over the course of the season they'll take some doings being this open.

Hopefully, it's just early season confidence and enthusiasm from Leeds. A lot of promoted teams start well, then drop off when they've been well beaten a couple of times.

Liverpool holding too high a line to be giving away the ball so cheaply around the Leeds box. How many balls over the top , with only VVD to defend them. Robertson ok, but the other side is a shambles.
Teams that sit deeper will find it a lot easier to break on Leeds back line, and they do look vulnerable at the back. That said Leeds aren't going to be the mugs that Norwich were, but I think they are going to have to learn quickly if they want to be successful at this level.
