Playing on the right and still looks brilliant - poor lad wanted centre midfield position in his interview

He's doing ok though.
Pretty much looks like his Burnley role.

He didnt go because he wanted to play CM, he didnt go because we offered him a reduction in wages, and he certainly didnt go because he didnt feel loved by the fans.

He went because like 95% of footballers he wanted more money and would have gone to whoever or wherever offered the most of it.

Very true, that interview was nonsense. He’s never going to be good enough for those fans though it’s such a tough club to win over, better the devil you know leaving Burnley because despite what some say we are very supportive of our players

Bruce is just man-managing him better than Dyche.

And playing better football too.
Although he was schooled at Manchester, not Chesterfield to be fair.

He went because he wants to play centrally so only the manager to blame for that - still looks like a boy lost on a big pitch

He always can pull one out of the bag like his goal vs Watford. Problem is the rest of the time he just goes missing in games.

Nothing wrong with Hendrick at all but with Dyche’s cautious tactics the last thing we need is Hendrick making us even more defensive by playing wide right. Johann far more suitable.

I’ll never understand why some of our fans had such a negative view on Jeff. I thought he always gave his all for us and was a solid 7/10 most weeks, occasionally better and even more occasionally worse. Shown in 90 mins for Newcastle tonight he’ll be a big miss for us but wish him all the best (apart from against us) and hope he silenced some of the muppets!
