Today's footie 13/9/20

Post by tiger76 » Sun Sep 13, 2020 3:02 pm

Not much happening in the WB-Leicester game 0-0 at the break.

Wigan lost on their League 1 return, 2-0 at Ipswich.

Spurs-Everton later must be better surely.

I’ve scanned them all with the scan as you shop in Tesco. Came to £38.53.

I scanned them with MyFitnessPal ... too much fat, sugar and excess calories.

Did you get a free discount code for a home shop too?

Afraid not. They’ve scrapped the cheap deliveries too at Tesco, it’s £4.50 a time now.

Only just noticed that. You can opt for flexi-slot.. seems to be £3.00 where I live.

Tesco slots used to vary depending on day & time. I was getting cheap deliveries at 10 pm. But all the same price now for the one hour slots.

Bit of a stroll for Foxes. Baggies not offering much.

The new right full back for Leicester looks quite good, it will be interesting to see how he does against Dwight next week.

It's the left back who is new, the right back is James Justin, he was there last season.

Two promoted sides concede 3, Leeds 4. Two were at home. Long season for two of them.

TBF all 3 had tough opening fixtures, but it must be a concern that two of them were easily beaten at home, Leeds can take solace from their performance, and 3 goals at Anfield, and they at least showed they have goals in them, Fulham and West Brom were on my relegation list, and nothing either has shown this weekend has suggested they'll be able to collect enough points to stay up, we've got make sure we pick a good number of points when we face all 3, if we can do that, it'll go a long way to helping our own survival prospects.

I doubt scoring 100% of their shots on target will be sustainable for Leeds.

I think Leeds will get enough points to stay up.
West Brom and Fulham will go, and either Brighton or the Hammers will go with em.

Nothing too exciting at Spurs in the first half. Everton should have scored but I presume Kane would have tried to claim it.

Kane would have claimed the goal. Terry would have celebrated it.

So much for Dier wanting to be Spurs and England centre back.

To be fair to Dier, he’s equally good in midfield

Southgate is a mate of Steve Gibson OBE.
