No you cant as it isn't, so don't lie.
Funny how no economist has praised the deal in glowing terms.

For ‘far more superior’ read a potential 0.07% added to GDP over an unspecified timeframe, it’s the EU deal with some very minor additions. So the good news is that the predicted 5% drop in GDP due to Brexit can be reduced to a mere 4.93%.RingoMcCartney wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 11:55 pmRemoaners/ The Left-

Silent Minority was the name of a documentary about mistreatment of mentally handicapped folks in a mental health asylum in Oxfordshire.

Ringo has a point.
When remainers are championing a man who set fire to the middle east, for some cut price oil, as the voice of ethical standards, you just know that pretty much everything they post is nonsense.
Looking forward to more egg on faces by the time we get to the end of these negotiations

It’s a classic deflection tactic which Damo is now using as well to avoid talking about the failings of their beloved Tory government.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 7:28 amThat's true, he did it whilst looking for some WMD's that have never been found but he was busy being the lapdog of George Bush in reality

We really need to reach an agreement on a definition of a bad deal on here.
Remainers will state that any deal that's not 100% the same as we had when in the EU is a bad deal.
Leavers will say diff.
Can we find a middle ground?

Where was the deputy leader of the Labour Party yesterday in parliament yesterday? Protocol would suggest that it shouldve been Angela Raynor who faced Boris. Given Captain Hindsight is isolating. Instead they bring in another white male North London metropolitan bubble dwelling europhile!!
Labour are keen to extoll their diversity credentials but it seems that when it comes to giving the opportunity to a northern woman to represent the party good old fashioned snobbery and sexism rears it old head!
I wonder what Angela Raynor is thinking today? It's almost as if theyve given up on the North. Well, the North, as I predicted , has given up on Labour!

Because he’s the Shadow Business Secretary and the Internal Market bill comes from the Secretary for Business. It’s usual for the relevant minister to introduce a bill to parliament but the government chose to have it presented by the PM rather than Business Secretary Alok Sharma. So Milliband was the right deputy in this instance.RingoMcCartney wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:26 amWhere was the deputy leader of the Labour Party yesterday in parliament yesterday? I've stated several times that they got their policy badly wrong on letting people back into the UK and making arrangements to get people back, plus allowing people to leave for holidays during this ongoing pandemic.
Whilst they managed to look after a large amount of the country with the furlough scheme, again they let down a small number.
Their decision to extend Mot's was moronic beyond belief and that resulted in a number of garages closing or struggling if they remained open.
Want me to go on?
Yes there are people on here who're so stuck in their political views they won't look around.

I went to London to protest against the Iraq war, so I’m not sure where you get the idea that I’m a massive Blairite from (although I was prior to the illegal war he took us into).

Here’s a list of who voted for, and who voted against the war in Iraq:bobinho wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 11:06 pmVoted him in though didn’t you?
And the Iraq war was 2003, wasn’t that in his second term? So you weren’t turned against him until then? If so, even if you did vote for him first time round, you must’ve done it again. Hands up- I did. Ashamed of it now mind....
It’s not so much that I hate your opinions, it’s what you are desperately clinging on to that I hate. Keep talking by all means, but change the record ffs. Everything blue is bad. Everything red is good. It’s just tiresome. Maybe at the turn of the century there was a place for your politics, but not now. Despite the fact that you were rejected emphatically at the ballot box, you still cling to the hope that eventually your time will come. Sorry, but it’s gone. There is no need for “your labour”. Workers and the working classes (Yeah, PLURAL) no longer need the type of ‘protection’ your (and JC’s) politics tell us we need. The Labour Party needs to be left of centre, not left of Marxism. (Yeah yeah yeah, the daily mail told me to think that, blah blah blah...) When that returns, we can all look forward to a labour government getting everything right.
Anyway, try this... https://www.theweek.co.uk/108040/brexit ... nal-damage
There’s plenty more out there having a pop at BoJo over this... who can blame them?
Schoolyard bully? No better example of that than Corbyn (and his north London reds), continually talking people down, refusing to listen and repeatedly telling people what they want/need. Reminiscent of you and your posts.
Fortunately the nation saw thru him, and we’ve got what we’ve got. It’s not great, but it’s a damn site better than it could’ve been.
https://inews.co.uk/news/long-reads/cur ... -war-13298
On top of my earlier criticisms there was an aura of control freakery around the Blair government that I didn’t like. The way he imposed Kitty Usher on the people of Burnley is an example of “we know what’s best for you” attitude which I think repelled many northern people. I don’t think I’m alone in this criticism, because a lot of people who joined Labour after the 2015 election looked for a leader who was for making the party more democratic, less careerist (insofar as looking at politics to advance their personal careers), honest (as in not fiddling expenses, and not talking in sound bites), and someone who was against the war. So whereas the party could be rightly accused of taking northern voters for granted in the Blair era, I don’t think that is the case now. The last two manifestos had a lot of policies around investing in deprived areas.
When you say “far left” or “left of Marxism” what do you mean? To me that is getting rid of the free market, and private property, but those things weren’t in any Labour manifesto. You’re either not serious and using the terms pejoratively, or you don’t understand what they mean. There is nothing in any of the Labour manifestos that could be described as hard left. The press described them as hard left, but that was to discredit them. If you’re using the term hard left, but actually mean “left,” then just say “left.”
There was a point during the last election when Corbyn made speeches aimed over the top of the Brexit divide. That whichever side of Brexit you were on, there is more that unites us than divides us, and that was his approach. So I don’t see how you’ve concluded he was a tyrant pushing his views on everyone. He was painted that way in the papers, but then it’s important that I trust people don’t take everything they read in them as gospel.
Thanks for the link too.

If they hadn't falsified information to make the war more appealing, do we think so many would've voted in favour?
If no one outside of Blairs inner circle new the full truth then can anyone be blamed for voting in favour?

They haven't broken any laws yet.
They're putting provisions in place that will enable them to transport food to a part of the United Kingdom if the EU carry out their threat to leave us off their list of approved countries.
I assume you're happy that the EU are willing to allow potential food shortages to happen in N.Ireland to get what they want from us.
We've stated that we will be honoring current EU regulations on food and if we wish to make any changes they'll be notified through the proper channels with the appropriate amount of time.
The EU still aren't happy with that and have issued threats as a response.

Myth - "Our international reputation will be shattered." And " no country will give us a better trade deal"
While you were coming out with this garbage the UK / Japan trade deal is signed!

The labour party - used to be the working class party.
