I wrote who cares as it seems people are quick to write as if its a big fuss for 1 possibly 2 people to visit somebody in their homes especially when the new poxy rule is for 6 people

Not "nice photo" or "glad hes ok" - lets mention social distancing

There was a very large queue of people waiting to be tested in town today - so I would think they care - I have been shopping for people who have been isolating since before lockdown (and still are) they care, I care. The families of the 60 or so people in town who have been taken early by the virus care.

Please don't say you think it's a government ploy to take more control over us. I've got friends on Facebook who come out with this rubbish. They have an excuse in that they are thick as a duck plucker's wick.

You'd have whistleblowers coming out of your arse if that was true. Imagine trying to have countries meeting up and keeping everything a secret - wouldn't happen. You'd have people coming out and spilling on these meetings and what their plans are.

Well, you know me... interesting stuff now and again :D

It refers to the thickness of a candlewick back in the days when people would pluck ducks after dark.

There'll be many who remember and discuss this in the Bob Lord, I imagine. Doesn't really cut it with the younger element in the JH Upper.

...or is it all a euphemism ;)
