Alternatives to Air Pods

Post by Zlatan » Tue Sep 15, 2020 3:39 pm

I'm looking for alternatives to Apple Air Pods, I've googled and read reports and some of the reviews recommend the following:

Cambridge Audio Melomania
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07QQ1WWBG/ ... _lig_dp_it

Lypertek Tevi
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B084BPY72H/ ... _lig_dp_it

Anker Soundcore Life P2
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07SJR6HL3/ ... _lig_dp_it

As always I like to get info from other sources too, especially knowing this forum I should get some good advice and info.

Last Christmas I bought the Anker Soundcore ones for my daughter.
We think they are outstanding - so much so that my wife wanted a pair for her birthday, in March!
From tech specs and write-ups etc., I'm attracted to the Melomania, but if value-for-money is one of your criteria, I think the P2s will be impossible to beat!

Check out Raycon E55 earbuds
I have a pair, they are excellent and considerably less expensive than apple

I did my research and bought SimpTronic V9 of Amazon and am very happy with them, must be hundreds of alternatives though, this is just one recommendation that you can be sure is true and not generated to increase sales.

Thanks for that, I have a cheap set of wired Anker in ear bluetooth ones and they are also great, except phone calls - but I usually use them at night for listening to podcasts when going to sleep. How good are those for answering telephone calls and the like - the reviews usually slate the cheaper ones for poor call quality?

Sony wf-1000xm3 are good, particularly the noise cancelling. Amazon often have them heavily reduced in their warehouse deals.

My wife doesn't use them for calls but my daughter says they're fine - no problems!
