Some people are just born pessimists.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 5:21 pmIt is a genuine injury and I am told he would probably have played had it been a league game. And given that Chris Boden is at the ground I would think he has more info and contacts than most of us right now.

How long are we doing the BLM thing for, nothing against it but it’s like anything, loses it’s meaning when it becomes the normal.

I am usually Mr Positive.
But an assurance from Chris Boden that the injury is genuine is utterly worthless.
If it wasn’t a genuine injury do you honestly think :-
1. They’d tell Boden.
2. Even if they did tell him, that they’d give him the ok to broadcast it to the world.
As it is it’s either a hell of a coincidence at the worst possible time or something more going on.

Really bad challenge unintended follow through. But anyway, that’s him out for the year.

Foot high on the follow through. i've seen them given as a foul. Gudmondsson is a bit fragile.

Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
Could well have broken his leg there.
Disgusting challenge and needed a red card
In no way did that challenge require that follow through or that level of force

If there was VAR in this competition he’d be off for that. Unbelievable bad luck for JBG.

So we're now down to 13 first teamers. Well played Garlick.
