Dyche will be treating this meaningless competition has a friendly and rightly so.

Nailed on for penalties and Brady to send the last one over the top of the Cricket Field stand.
Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
J Rod and Wood against Leicester, nothing more sure
Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
He's alright but he's no Chris Wood.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:02 pmHe's a gud'en that Vyds. Hope he plays at leicester with JayRod.

Tbh I’ve only had it on in the background so not seen much of the game but he always seems to “pull rank” and relive his debut Chelsea goal without successGordaleman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:03 pmI'm glad it was you that said that. How many times has he given the ball away in this game?

Does this go straight to penalties, or ET first?

Straight to pens
Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
Perhaps so, but I’m finding it increasingly difficult to work out what’s serious and what’s tongue in cheek, with the amount of negativity on this board at the minuteDevils_Advocate wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:04 pmOh, I thought it might have been because Blackburn fans have a wonderful sense of humour and dont take themselves so seriously. Im a bit disappointed now

Burnley have certainly looked more threatening this half. Maybe they've told Sean they want to win a cup game?

Benson on for Westwood, great to see the young lad get a taste of 1st team action.
Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
Don't get this negativity for Brady. Been out injured for ages. Needs competitive games for fitness and confidence. By far and away our best dead ball expert on free-kicks and prior to that Leicester injury was one of our best players.

Count the number of times he gives the ball away in a game. Too one footed and a dream for a defender to play against in my opinion.

Brady should know better than to head the ball across your own goal.

This referee gives decisions to Sheffield United before the challenge has even happened.

You should have got used to DA'S novel sense of humour by now, I know I have
This board is negative at the best of times, but TBF peeps do have genuine concerns over the coming season, and our lack of incomings isn't exactly easing those worries, even more so with our growing injury list.

Wood on for Jay.
I don't get the criticism of Brady he's been busy and he's at least trying to make things happen, get off his back FFS.

Benson has looked confident and more than capable since he came on.

Wow! His first competitive game in how long? Did Brady run over your cat when he was a boy? Jeez! You have selective memory my friend.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 7:21 pmThat's because when he's fit, he creates or scores goals. Brady just loses the ball as he's just done again.
