Not necessarily. I remember seeing a job advertised for someone to expand our commercial partnerships so i'd take the recent activity as part and parcel of someone trying to hit the ground running.ClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 3:41 pmThese announcements that have happened over the last few days it seems like something is happening at board level.

Aye I'm probably just over thinking. Or are we becoming more streamlined ready for take over? Ticking boxes that the new owners want ticked...ZizkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 3:43 pmNot necessarily. Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
Surely it's just normal sponsorship business at the start of the seasn? Not sure how Love bet will view another similar sponsor though. I guess there's nothing in the Love Bet agreement to stop it though.ClaretAndJew wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 3:41 pmThese announcements that have happened over the last few days it seems like something is happening at board level.
I wonder what Dafabet is sponsoring? Oh, it seems like LED advertising in the ground and other community stuff.

Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
Don't really remember seeing this amount? I'm obviously speculating, but this, that Stock investment thing from earlier, the streamlining of the video service/website etc. Tarting ourselves up.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 3:45 pmSurely it's just normal sponsorship business at the start of the seasn? Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
Just as Manchester United have decided that Regional sponsor/marketing partners are no longer the way to go - they find a better return from global partners - this is partly because everyone is at it, even the Leagues themselves (have a look at how many sponsors La Liga have signed up, it is mind boggling), following Manchester United's lead from over a decade ago -ZizkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 3:44 pmComing soon, Noodle partners, official ride-on lawnmower, and garage door partners.
I make that 3 betting associates now for our club - LoveBet (shirt). Ladbrokes (UK betting partner and Cricketfield stand - last year this season i think) and Dafabet (Asian betting partner)

Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
I'm sure you're right but it's a bit hypocritical of the football authorities, not allowing players to bet, even on games they are not involved in, but they are happy to accept advertisers.
Of course, more importantly, it doesn't help gambling addicts either.

Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
I must admit, the likes of Chelsea with a single mega sponsor doesnt half result in cleaner branding in their ground, whereas out variety of sponsor boards can look a little Football League at times.Chester Perry wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 4:03 pmJust as Manchester United have decided that Regional sponsor/marketing partners are no longer the way to go - they find a better return from global partners - this is partly because everyone is at it, even the Leagues themselves (have a look at how many sponsors La Liga have signed up, it is mind boggling), following Manchester United's lead from over a decade ago -

Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
It seems like someone on the board got confused when Dyche said he wanted all those "deals" completing.

Re: More betting sponsorship at Burnley
From the United Perspective it is the cost of managing the partnership, public confusion as to who the partner is, tickets, player time and image rights, relationship managers, sales teams commission etcZizkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 4:11 pmI must admit, the likes of Chelsea with a single mega sponsor doesnt half result in cleaner branding in their ground, whereas out variety of sponsor boards can look a little Football League at times.

What odds are Daftbet offering on Burnley making signings before deadline day?
