Do those assets lose all of their value if we are relegated?Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 7:32 pmCorrect, but being 30m in debt and relegated in 2 years will be even worse.
Is Dyche fighting his battle on his own

Too many variables too predict.
For instance we have paid over 10mfor 4 players in our history.
Hendrick 10m - left for free.
Brady 13m - might get 2m for him or will leave for free.
Wood 15m - value gone up but age might bring it down soon.
Gibson 15m - value dropped like a lead balloon. Might half back?
Re: Is Dyche fighting his battle on his own
There seems to be an increasing number of complaints against Dyche for bemoaning lack of incomings within the media ie hanging the dirty washing out on the line
But, at the end of the day, if SD is asked questions on transfer activity he has to give some sort of answer
We are one of few (if not the only) teams who have not brought in a single player to improve the starting eleven (or even bench)
He has to front up to these awkward questions whilst the chairman can just sit back and stay silent

Dyche is our front man in terms of speaking to the press
in addition to the obvious - managing and choosing the team.
Not sure what he's supposed to say apart from what he has.
Is he supposed to say nothing about needing players?
Or say we've got a number of promising youngsters who can step in?
Garlick is, in my opinion, being overtly cautious and I don't believe
that, if per chance the worst came to the worst and we were relegated
we couldn't recoup any monies given to Dyche now.
Let's be honest if we were relegated then we would most likely lose
2 or 3 of our best players if not more.
Pope, McNeil, Tarks, Taylor and Wood would be the most likely to leave.
How much would that bring in?
Probably considerably more than Dyche might require at present.
