Predictions vs Foxes

Head says 3-0 defeat, heart says 2-1 defeat, I'd be reasonably happy with the latter, as long as we put up a good show, as we did their last year, let's be honest our season isn't going to be judged on whether we get a result at Leicester or not, it's games such as Southampton at home the following week that'll be the key to our survival hopes.

The way things are at the moment, especially with Gudders and Mee out, (Will Tarky play?) I can't see anything but a heavy defeat.

Still, this squad are nothing if not resilient under pressure, so who knows?

Heart says 1-1 but head says 3 or even 4 - 0.

A bit of a phishy OP, OK I'll bite.

It's the maverick results that keep the Clarets from going down as much as staple expected victories.

We need 3 points tomorrow, I'm going for a Burnley win, stuff Leicester:

"Na-na-na-na,
'You are Leicester Boys,
Go sit on girls' sex toys
And make more girlie noise

Na-na-na-na..."

Score: Leicester 1 Burnley 2

Vardy on 35th minute. O' Neil 4th minute. Rodriguuez 47 th minute.

4-1 to Leicester.Wish I could be more positive. Barnes 2, Vardy 2 and Wood for us, and we will pick up another major injury.Following that SD really blows his top in the post match interview, and tells us what he really thinks about our recruitment

SD might not risk/or play him to make a point. Bit like having 2 goal keepers on the bench. Its as if a thrashing might force MG's hand

We can field a very competitive 11 - even under current circumstances, admittedly it's very thin beyond that but barring losing a key player to injury I think we're capable of a point 1-1

Considering how few times we’ve lost recently (is it 2 defeats in 19?), there are a lot of thoroughly depressing people on here.

I expect a narrow 2-1 defeat, purely because Leicester are a better side than us and we’re missing a couple of key players.

IF you count the SU cup tie we've lost 2 in 17, a narrow defeat away to Leicester would be no disgrace, and certainly no reason for this board to endure a meltdown, which it no doubt will if we lose tomorrow, you're quite correct Leicester man for man are better than us, but both games were incredibly tight last season.

The bigger worry is the lack of incomings, and the apparent rancour between Sean and the chairman, we've succeeded at this level for the past 4 seasons, mainly due to our unity, if that's becoming strained, it's an ominous sign.

I think and hope once we start putting points on the board, then we'll all calm down somewhat, and realise that we can still compete at this elite level, tough as it maybe, and it gets tougher by the season.

Depressing people? Why’s that then when almost everyone including yourself agrees we will probably lose?

Have you read the board recently? It’s absolutely morbid, it’s the same during every transfer window.

I personally don’t find the idea of narrowly losing a game against a better side depressing. It’s realistic.

I’ll go for 1-1. I don’t think we’re in as bad a nick as most seem to. Leicester are too mobile for us often, not our type of game so a defeat is not a boggy.

We’ll start as we did after we came out of lockdown. Leicester will reach fourth gear early on we’ll find fifth and then sixth, winning 3-2 after being behind twice.
Come on you Clarets...

If Lancs live is correct, then I've seen worse line ups.

Maybe one that won't last 90 mins, but the rest should.

Be chuffed if thats the line-up. Personally would play Piters instead of Brady. Dyche will remember the performances he put in during the last 7-8 games. Appreciate that means Dwight on the right, but we are down to the bare bones

My head is split in two. One side says God help us, the other says we will be ready no matter what, due to Dyche and the players digging in when the chips are down.

We seem to pull out all the stops when everything is against us.

If there's defending like yesterday then it could be 4-4. I actually have a good feeling about today. 1-2 to us.
