Where is your outrage?
Where is your outrage?
Going into a new season in the top flight of English football with the squad/team that we have is nothing short of outrageous.
I understand that there is still some time left in the window but I doubt we will go into the season even as strong as we were last season when many thought we needed to strengthen.
I can’t believe so little frustration is being shown on here over the past week or so.

It's only an outrage if you have only been supporting us for the last 3 years.
Most of us watched Graham Branch pay centre half one week then up front the next and generally just got behind the club.

Apparently our offer of £4m plus 10 million fan outrage points has been turned down by Watford as we pursue the signing of Craig Dawson. Apparently, they don't see much value in outrage points.
Strange.

Outrage? When you saw Helliwell as CF, that was outrageous
I could go on but clearly I'd be wasting my time We're nowhere near the low point in our clubs long and checkered history believe me from someone who watched us lose 3-0 at Chester

Re: Where is your outrage?
It's only a game at whatever level you look at. Certainly not worth getting upset about because you have no control over anything that happens at the club.
You can either support your club or turn your back on it and not go to matches -----chance would be a fine thing. No outrage needed.

Re: Where is your outrage?
Most of us would agree, we are absolutely nowhere near as low as we have been in our history, and we can probably all recount coming off a game in the 80’s in despair, wondering if things could actually get worse. However, the OP is correct in stating that for a so called established Premier League club to be going into a new season in the position we are in, is, to put it bluntly, disgraceful. We are down to the bare bones BEFORE a ball has been kicked, not 2/3 into the season when suspensions kick in.
We are all hoping that Sean can yet again work his magic and get a tune out of a small ageing squad. Fingers crossed -but I’m not holding my breath. This is of course IMHO, before I get slated and slagged off on here for being a pessimist/non supporter. UTC.

Re: Where is your outrage?
Think frustrated sums it up. There's clearly things going on behind the closed doors at the turf, we haven't had the normal excuses even yet which to me is telling. It would be nice to know what's going on but I guess we'll find out in time.
Re: Where is your outrage?
Outraged, you do know season tickets are frozen for the 7th season in a row, or something daft like that.

Depends on your perspective I suppose, but why people get so worked up about something they have no control over baffles me.Ashingtonclaret46 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 11:47 amIt's only a game at whatever level you look at. Whichever level we are playing at we should all support the club.
To put it into perspective look at Bury & Macclesfield, fans of those clubs would give their right arm to have our 'problems'.
And yes like everybody else I'm frustrated about the lack of activity in the market, but it is what it is, there's more important things in life to concern me then whether we splash out millions on players.
We could even see this as an opportunity to fast track some of the under 23 squad, if we don't play them we'll never know if they're up to the task or not.
My biggest worry is SD decides he's had enough, he's one individual we can't afford to lose.

Disappointment, frustration an eye brow raise or sigh maybe. Outrage is a bit OTT when we are in the top flight. Outrage was watching Paul Stewart not out a shift in.
Re: Where is your outrage?
You're a sucker for Capitalist hype and 'keeping up with the Jones's'.
Bayern Munich won their first Bundesliga title using only 13 players.
We have a settled squad.
Good.

Re: Where is your outrage?
It’s football, in the grand scheme of things it’s not that important. Outrage doesn’t come into it.

I think Branchy had eyesight issues.
I'd been fishing at Gawthorpe and was waiting for a lift, when Branchy drove out of the car park - straight over my foot.
