Awaiting game in trepidation

Post by jurek » Sun Sep 20, 2020 6:16 pm

Feeling extremely nervous/uncomfortable with 45 mins before we kick off.
What with all the Tarks leaving speculation and no Mee, Cork, JBG and all.
And the lack of incoming.

Not what I was envisaging or hoping for at the end of last season
after our promising run.

Do hope we put in a good performance to give us something
to feel good about.

You do have to feel for Dyche. Regardless of your opinions of his play style, the fact he's performed the way he has, with the players he has, imagine what he could do with more?

Not trepidation, but I’ve just resigned myself to us battling relegation all season with zero fuchs seemingly given by the board. Happy for them to prove me wrong......

But Garlick is a fan, he cares more than most, he wont jeopardise the team.

Season tickets are frozen what more do you want.

Sadly looks like those few who had him as a a fraud for the last couple of seasons, or saw this situation arising 2 years ago like Mr Dyche did himself, were actually right :(

Not much comfort in season tickets being frozen.
Especially as it looks as if it's going to be sometime before
many fans are allowed to attend.

It is, it's the only thing that matters for some. It's the proof Mike is doing a great job for some.

It's a great line about season tickets being frozen. You should use it again a few dozen times. It's never going to tire.

As much as I hope that Long & Dunne have an outstanding game, I just can’t help but feel this could be a dark day indeed, my heart says Dunne will be immense but head says this could be 5-0 before we know it.

Don’t you for one minute think Dyche might be part of the problem?

He only goes for very specific players and they are often the ones that are way over priced.

Just 1000 more times to catch up to those that use it to define the great job the Charlatans doing.

It's about the only think "He" has CONTINUED

Nope, as he said he would spend whatever he is given to spend.
Do you honestly think Mr Dyche says nah I dont want to buy any players Garlick, save the cash..

I think he goes for very specific players hence why we always do our business so late as we need to see what’s left.

If he would sign ‘anyone’ then he’d make signings earlier.

I think the players like santamaria , quaison are riggs targets . Dyche prefers players he knows his homework on so yes I agree he's part of the problem

I agree on the specific players point but not that being the reason for late deals. They could have been identified 12 months ago, it seems to be Garlick that plays the last minute approach.

I have to admit I've gone for a Leicster 4 -1 win with Corals.
At the minute, I'd be happy going into the Southampton game with just that behind us. I fear it might be far, far worse.
More than happy to be proved wrong, you never know.
