It's not just bodies we need - sometimes we are just badly exposed for not having enough of what the Premier League is about - pace and technical ability. Not great being on FTA television but to be honest our record in this format isn't good at the best of times

The line up was poor really but that is down to Garlick. Dyche did his best with what he had available. It wasn’t the worst display but it wasn’t brilliant and we were poor in midfield.

I thought Brady was having a good game until his injury. We couldn't handle Barnes and Castagne in particular but any direct running seemed to cut us open. The full backs struggled which could have been the quality of the opposition, the lack of defensive cover from our wide men, the lack of understanding across our defensive unit, or a combination of those. Dunne played well and the team fought hard with a cutting edge up front. I don't understand the negativity towards Dwight and his attitude but he should have pulled rank on Brownhill with that FK. I can only hope the Chairman believes there is going to be great value in the last week of the transfer window because we are close to negligent in our lack of bodies. As (nearly) always, no complaints about the effort or application from those in the shirts tonight.

It's all a game of opinions of course, but the idea that Bardsley is our MOM tonight just astounds me. Passion? Yes Effort? Undoubtedly. But he got booked, and didn't his opposite number just get an assist, a goal and man of the match or am I missing something? Bardsley showed willing, but Harvey Barnes won that battle over and over again. He would absolutely love to play Phil Bardsley every week.

Pope 6 Made one very decent save but couldn't do much about their goals.

Bardsley 7 He was up against their best player on the night and made some good blocks.
Dunne 7 As good as we could have hope for and got the second too.
Long 6 He had a decent game.
Taylor 8 Made some very interceptions and blocks and got a few decent crosses in too.

Brady 6 Pity he got injured as there were signs he might do well.
Brownhill 7 Thought he was all over the pitch hassling the Leicester players.
Westwood 6 Not quite as energetic as Brownhill but did get in there at times
McNeil 5 One or two moments but didn't create much.
Rodriguez 6 Not quite as his best
Wood 7 Got us off to good start and should have got another in the second half. A little unlucky that it hit the post.
Pieters 6 He did his best and unfortunate with the own goal but might have prevented it earlier.
Vydra 6 Not on long enough but did get in there when he could.

There were some positives in that we created chances and two of Leicester goals
could,possibly should have been cleared.
We needed McNeil to have a good game but unfortunately he didn't.

Pope 6 - Clearly different class and we're lucky to have him , not much he could've done for the goals
Bardsley 7 - Actually thought he did really well up against the pace of Barnes always gives everything.
Long 4 - Just not mobile enough for me, not a threat from set pieces he's been a great servant but I don't think hes up to it anymore.
Dunne 7 - 1 for the goal.and a not a bad debut defensively considering the step up , much more to come from him
Taylor 6 - Probably woulve been alot more without some of the blocks he put in and some great crossing , would love to see some more assists from him this season.
Brady 6 - Thought he was looking good on his weaker side untill his inevitable injury
Westwood 5 - Not his best game
Brownhill 6 - Gave the ball away a fair bit but has so much energy and pivotal to our press
Mcneil 5 - Disappointed with Dwight tonight expecting him to push on this season again. But Leicester are a good side he should be taking over the next few games.
Wood 7 - Got his goal and put the usual shift in, unlucky not to get another.
Rodriguez 5 - Was one of weaker games since he rejoined.

Vydra 7 - Got to be pushing for that starting eleven looked excellent
Pieters 6- The usual out of.position game from him pops up in some weird positions

Yes he got booked but not sure why that’s held against him. The assist wasn’t down to him not doing his job.

Barnes didn’t get much joy one on one against Bardsley. His joy cane when he went inside centrally.
