TEAM MORALE

It looks like Tarks is off-it all started with him being left out of the England team, and he knows or feels BFC no longer guarantees him a place. Tonight we saw the end result of a shambolic period of recruitment. The side we put tonight played their socks off-far better than I could have hoped. However it looks like an uphill fight. Can you see that eleven (now less Brady) winning many games

Nick Pope has the same desire to play for England.Did you see and hear his frustration. Unless we sort out our replacements he will be asking his agent to put feelers out. Another player is Wood-he knows he can play in a stronger team-the thought of Championship football is not going to motivate him. The same for Taylor and McNeil. The last thing Shearer & Wright said tonight was "Dyche has done miracles in the last 5 years. Now time for the club to support him"

We will be punished severely-imagine them v the top 6 or 7. We played our hearts out tonight but you cannot expect that every week without experience

It goes without saying that we need the injured players back, and I can only hope that Tarkowskis' supposed injury is genuine and not because he's about to leave.
Either way, we need re-inforcements, as the team spirit will only carry us so far.

I was disappointed with the result but not with the overall performance considering the team we had to put out.

That was versus one of the top 6 or 7. I don't expect us to win many of those games anyway. We will win games against the bottom half teams like we usually do though.

Morale will drop.

Played to their best but conceeded four goals.

Something has to happen. This week

So far we have had two competitive games both of which were against teams that finished above us last season ie top 9 premier league teams. I think we have done ok. These are professional, full time athletes. They should not need any more motivation than they have. Ok, we are unlucky with injuries but financially we MUST stand a chance of landing at least 2 players in the next fortnight. Let’s not panic yet for goodness sake, I can’t believe the players are!

How many points did we get against "top 6 or 7" last season and each of the seasons before?

Let's see where we are next w/end after we've played Soton.

There are things that can be improved on from tonight's game. There were also a lot of positives.

We played well against a top six team. If the deflection hadn’t gone in and wood had scored instead of hitting the post 3.3 !
However I agree we all know we need a couple of good signings and then we will be fine!!

I'd ******* leave. From player to gaffer, if it were me, I'd be off.

I'm glad you aren't one of our players then.

Vydra did really well to set Wood up, and how he missed, I don't know. Instead, Leicester go up the other end and score again.

If's, buts and maybes. It could have been a lot different and we didn't get the rub of the green.

One big plus. Didn't Dunne do well? One for the future for sure. Long exellent as well.

Hopefully it will be a bit different against Southampton.

Which chance are you referring to? Leicester were already 4-2 up when Wood hit the post.

we should have score 4 away at Leicester who lost their last game of the season to fall out of a Champions League place

Ok, maybe I got mixed up with the goals, but Wood should definitely have scored. He'll never get a better chance.

What about next time we get a penalty?

Stop catastrophising. The case you've painted is absolute worst case, and is very unlikely to ever happen. If it does, deal with it then.

They got the rub of the green another day it would have been 4-2 to Burnley....

the deflection spins harmlessly out, and the lads laces are offside for the Barnes goal. Burnley get the corner when Jay’s flying effort is knocked of target, and Wood hits the net..

Small margins. Top half finish if we can keep performing at those levels.
