Two good managers giving a fair appraisal of what went on last night. It reminded me of a cup tie where our plucky efforts just weren't good enough against better players.

leicester certainly had some classy performers last night, but we played well in periods. As it was our first game too, quite an impressive display. Injuries will always be a constant , but if we had key players fit, might have took a point at least from them.

We played ok in parts but when people said the other week about JBG and Brady they were not wrong - 2 games and both out already

We need some players through the door and quickly as they might get a game these days instead of waiting months

I’ll agree with the fact that we need players in but as for JBG & Brady, they are both impact injuries and not a lot you can do about that.

I know that both could not be helped but didn't see how Brady got injured last night but could tell it was his ribs again.

But the facts are both are now out again for a while.

Well I'm glad the players still have a positive outlook, shame some posters on here aren't as optimistic in their outlook.

The one thing that was evident last night is that our team spirit is plain to see, and even at 3-1, and 4-2 down, we kept pushing right until the whistle.

Roll on Saturday and the Saints marching in and then out with zero points for their troubles.

Those are the type of games that will define our season, not Leicester away.

There is a positivity to the team. I just hope that Sean Dyche's negativity about the strength of the squad doesn't filter through.

It's Sean Dyche that is filtering through to the players, that's why they are so positive. If you deem not having enough players as negative then so be it, I see it as being realistic.

Of course not having enough players is a negative. But telling the players that there aren't enough of them and implying that they can't do the job properly because of that - that can easily turn into a negative on the pitch. It hasn't so far.

You clearly don't understand our manager, our players and the relationship they have.

I don't doubt they're a positive lot, but I also think that a lot of the European season first half struggles were because it was the one time that Dyche let them believe that this was one wall they couldn't run through. The positivity failed for a spell. You find it easier than me to say it can never fail again.
