Some non-starters there - for one Mumbongo is out injured, hasn't played in either of the two u23 games. I wouldn't expect anyone who is playing today to be involved so that would rule out Tucker & Richardson too. I do think we can expect Tarkowski to play.

I've no idea but I would, for once, field an inexperienced team because this injury jinx could reduce us to a seriously desperate situation.

My team selection was made with my tongue firmly in cheek. The point being that I wouldn't be risking any first team players who will be needed for a far more important game on Saturday. And with the prospect of Man City at home in the next round, well......

I hope benson gets a run out, looked good last week. Looked hungry for the ball unlike a certain lad called Dwight.

BPF
Lowton Thomas Dunne Glennon
Rodriguez Benson Goodridge Pieters
Vydra
Wood
Striker being about the only outfield position we have senior depth I don't mind playing all 3 (Would play Thompson and Richardson personally but they won't be involved having played for the U23s). Wouldn't risk a starter in any other position.
I know this will never be the team selected.

Unfortunately the turnstile staff are furloughed at present, perhaps a couple of the physios could step in...
or better still a couple from the recruitment team

I was under the impression the recruitment team had also been furloughed

BPF has to start, apart from him, I would try and avoid any players who'll be starting in the league. Just a game we could do without IMO. A chance for some of the youngsters to gain some experience.

"I hope benson gets a run out, looked good last week. Looked hungry for the ball unlike a certain lad called Dwight."
That post takes some beating.

I'd start with as many youngsters as possible alongside
2 or 3 of our more established first team players.
They need the chance to start games as we may need to
bring them on more quickly than we might normally have done.
It's something Dyche has been reluctant to do in the past
but then our current situation probably dictates that we may need to blood
a few of them over the coming few months/season.
And hope some of them come good.

Is McNeil the new whipping boy?...for Gods sake some people have very short memories.
Dwight was the one player who was most instrumetal in turning around our season last time.
