Dunne ... the new..no it can't be.
Maybe it was late
Maybe I was tired
But it did strike me , watching Dunne celebrate his goal , that he could have been mistaken for a young Tony Adams.
Lets hope he has a career as fraction as good.

His time is now other teams have younger players making their mark in the Premier league we need to trust Jimmy to step up.
Too long we've had rising stars not get a chance this has to change

I know he spends a lot of time on social media so when he scored and and reacted like that, I did wonder if it was an up yours to all the people saying he shouldn't be playing.
Good to see.
He can play again for me anytime.

I was having a look on the Hearts forum earlier. He really is highly thought of up there.

Re: Dunne ... the new..no it can't be.
Dunne is a good player, passionate, and obviously has the right mind set!
I don’t personally think he will make it as a first choice consistent CB in the modern Premier League. He could very well carve out a Long style career.
Aside from his heading ability, he’s slow on the turn, and doesn’t have the technical ability required to be able to compete with the forwards he’s going to come up against week in week out.
He would make a very good Championship CB, and he would be a great signing for the Old Firm or he can stay with us and stay in and around the group.
I think Thomas might well turn out to be the best CB we’ve developed in recent years.

You could be describing Ben Mee there, but he's done alright with us.Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 9:57 amDunne is a good player, passionate, and obviously has the right mind set!

Re: Dunne ... the new..no it can't be.
I could, Ben has been an amazing player, but only because he’s been playing in a low block most of the time. I’d also say his one on one tackling is exceptional, his bravery is second to none these give him better attributes than Dunne.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 10:42 amYou could be describing Ben Mee there, but he's done alright with us.
Ben Mee wouldn’t be half the player he was away from Dyche and the system we play. Thankfully he’s not going anywhere!
