Superb Dan. The b&w one along with ALP’s b&w train are amazing. Who needs colour?

Re: Your Autumn Photos
Thankyou - I love B&W at the right time, but it was a fairly early decision this morning, when the brief golden mist was replaced by grey light swallowing conditions, so I decided I was going to dial down the colour saturation and use Black And White to best display the type of morning. Tomorrow morning Is forecast to be torrential rain, and I am toying with going down for some more atmospheric shots, and deer shaking off the rain water. We'll see what happens.

Thanks Buxton - I will try.
Re: Your Autumn Photos
Beautiful weather today, drive to Matagorda, never been before, not much there but got to see the beach and call in a bar, was fun & locals were friendly Equivalent of let's go for a drive in the country, very flat, sparse trees after prairie lands but the shrimp boats I liked. Weather obviously totally different here and missing the UK based on some of the great shots on here.

The trouble with the Scottish Coastal Path network is that the scenery never ends. By the time you get to the end of one you are near the start of the next 100+ mile spectacular path.Steve1956 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 10:28 amIm surprised if you have never visited this part of Scotland BC,from Elie where i live up the coast to St Andrews is a beautiful walk, and part of the 117 mile Fife coastal path,i intend to do it all one day, think ive clocked about 17 mile of it off up to now only another 100 to go!

Re: Your Autumn Photos
Thanks Steve, I should keep it more up to date, but tend to forget. These fallow deer are in Phoenix park in Dublin. There are around 300 of them, and make for interesting subjects at this time of year.
Closer to home, RSPB Leighton moss near carnforth, and studley royal near ripon are good places for the deer ruts at this time of year.

Thank you Steve. Starlings are like the thugs of the bird world. They argue, squabble and fight over nowt!
I like your harbour pic btw. Not had chance to do much travelling this year and that's something I really miss.

I once had a friend who went to Barcelona on holiday and complained about the shops. He couldn't get hold of a pair of underpants with a picture of the Sagrada Familia on them.
Like Burnley, Barcelona is mankind's reciprocation with the world in which he finds himself, on the edge of the abyss.
This picture is an autumn picture, a drawing done on the edge of the dangerous road to Faliraki:

"Three days ago was one of those really special moments. We received nearly 6" of snow at Yellowstone National Park and morning temperatures dropped to around -8ºF, which resulted in some truly spectacular winter conditions. After spending a few days scouting locations of bison herds, I was able to locate these guys near one of the thermal pools. Their fur was completely frozen and a thin layer of snow and ice covered their entire bodies." (Mike Mezuel photo, free to share)
