Something came up on my FB memories twice in recent days, neither in relation to Burnley games. It read "spend a bit less on fake tan and use the saving for an eye test Marriner, you blind b***ard.

Decent referee and a cracking bloke off the field. I hope that he has a good day.

I don't know him but he's definitely one of the better refs in the Premier League. I still have Dean & Atkinson at the top though and by some distance.

Great to have Deano back involved in one of our games.

The man's a demi god.

I've liked Mr Marriner from when we were in the Championship but he does this thing about once a game, where he looks completely lost but eventually then gives a decision. Generally the wrong one.
