I hate the song 'Love Shack' by the B52's, had no option but to listen to it in the supermarket yesterday but regardless of how much I hate that song, there's a bit in it that makes me want to plug my ears with Gorilla Glue. It's the bit where Cindy Wilson goes "Tin roof, rusted" after the bloke goes "you're what?!?".

Any song which has siren type noises in it (or phone ringing) - esp when I am driving! Some annoying adverts on the radio guilty of this - does my 'schwad' in.

The whole song is the most annoying bit, it is up there with that "you're gorgeous" shite from a few year back.

People who like either song should have to carry visible ID to let others know to avoid them

Not a song but the adverts for the Ring Video doorbell do my head in. That chime is so annoying - I knock instead when I visit my Mums!!

Pauls bit in “A Day In The Life”. I mean it’s a brilliant song don’t get me wrong. But if Lennon had of wrote a proper middle for his parts, it’d be better imho. His raw voice, and saw strumming were superb on it.

I have two that trigger me :
- The Par-par-par-par-pa-pa noise at the start of that bloody awful Shania Twain song "Man, I Feel like a Woman" .....beloved of hen nights and dancers-around-handbags it makes me want to tear my ears off.
- The feeble ting ting of xylophone at the start of "Seven Years Old" by Lukas Graham. I absolutely loathe that record and just that particular sound has me diving for the off switch of the radio.

I like the B52s though..the album Love Shack is on, Cosmic Thing, is a cracker !

Lead vocals when they sing a lyric and attach a 'yeah' at the end... or they chuck in a 'yeah' to fill a gap. It's like they're making the song all about them.

Female leads are the worst for it

When Kylie Minogue starts singing.

The worst bit is before the song starts when one of my kids says 'Alexa...'
