Re: No programmes for home games this season
I’ve just handed my nephew the programme form last week and said it’ll be the last he’ll be getting for a while.
He looked a little disappointed tbh

Re: No programmes for home games this season
Theres clearly not enough interest so a good move from the club. Some people will moan about anything.

I didn’t realise the person that sent out the PDFs to the printers is our chief transfer negotiator. Sorry.UpTheClaretsFCBK wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 3:50 pmIf it's that cheap then you can take your digital programme file to a print shop and get it done yourself.
Absolutely no point in the club engaging in anything that's not commercially viable.
We've got 12-13 fit first team players, transfers and a potential bid to buy the club with no match day income at all for, what looks like now, the whole season. I'd wager printing programmes is not high on the priority list.

They obviously don’t know football supporters. Programme collecting is a big thing. If they did a small print run, the most economical. Send the pre-ordered ones out, the rest will become collectors items. The print will pay for itself. IMO.

Fair play for trying to be funny. But in reality, you’ve made yourself look a bit of silly.UpTheClaretsFCBK wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 12:49 pmYour apology is accepted. I wish I had a printed programme to wipe away my tears from that savage response.

Not doing printed versions is one thing but to not even allow opposition fans to purchase is something else.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Sep 25, 2020 4:22 pm17 Premier League clubs producing printed programmes

I know people have said it’s not cost effective but it really is shortsighted of the club in making this decision.
Not being able to attend is one thing but being able to buy a programme would have meant there was still some connection with the club
Re: No programmes for home games this season
If enough of you complain to the club it might get changed
Re: No programmes for home games this season
Has anyone downloaded the Southampton one? I can't find it anywhere and I am signed up to +.

Re: No programmes for home games this season
Yes, I did but only after lots of searching for it! Also, I ended up not printing it as it's in colour and runs to 70 pages. Heaven knows just how much printer ink that would take! On that basis I certainly won't be continuing with my subscription after the end of the 1st month free period.

Re: No programmes for home games this season
As it's only available to Clarets+ subscribers (anyone know just how many of these there are?) I'd be interested to know just how many downloads of the programme that there actually were? As of the 70 pages, there are only about 7/8 of adverts and the rest are editorial, photos, stats etc and it must take quite a fair bit of staff time and cost to produce it. Also, I'm not sure just how the club have determined that it's not cost effective to produce a hard copy when they don't appear to have done much publicising of it prior to the start of the season (but I stand to be corrected on that).

Does Clarets+ have any free content or is it completely subscription based?
I can see videos now, but dont know if thats "standard" or if its part of the free 30days

Not available yet but don't know just why that should be, as surely it's been finalised before now?

Re: No programmes for home games this season
I have subscribed to Clarets+ and get access to the matchday programme and live material etc etc.
Purchased on an annual pass it works out at just under £2.50 per programme.

We'll just have to wait and see if it's full programme or a reduced page special.Local cricketer wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 4:01 pmThought it might be one of them pound specials for tonight that they normally do for cup games
Re: No programmes for home games this season
Anyone know if they are still available for download if you haven't done it on a matchday?
Re: No programmes for home games this season
I got the Southampton one through the link CT posted but I can't find it if I go onto the site and Clarets+.

So does that mean that anyone now clicking on the link can download the Soton programme (not just Clarets+ subscribers)? Please can someone who isn't a Clarets+ subscriber try it?Bosscat wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 4:14 pmMan City programme not yet on the link only Soton...

How do I get access to tonight's programme? Can't find it anywhere!
Now found it but more by luck than anything! 17 pages but 5 of them adverts!
The website really is non-user friendly!

I can view it. Very kind of you to do that.
As thought, there’s nothing to stop 1 person subscribing and sharing the programme to many people for every game
