It is inexcusable

I actually think the midfield and attack is very decent. It's just that central defence that isn't strong enough.

What can the Chairman do about a spate of injuries? You can't buy players just to cover a few games.

What a sham of a bench that is. Also feel for Brownhill, being shifted out wide because the chairman is a tight arse.

Mee, Cork, Jay, JBG and Barnes to come back. That's 5 of those 6 (not counting PF) on the bench replaced for a kick off. Just unlucky with injuries.

This bench is what you get when you see 4 first team squad players go, and don't react to rectify the shortage of numbers for 3 months.
If it hadn't happened to my club, I'd be pi$$ing my pants laughing.

I don't know how the extended window affects things but don't we have to submit our PL squad pre-season? you can't just go out and buy short-term replacements.
