On the plus side, it's not as if Pope has been that busy and we definitely grew into the game. We're right in it, if we get the next goal who knows. Southampton are no mugs though, they have some really good ball players

I really don’t know what to say about that first half. Did we have a single shot on goal? If we did I must have gone for a ****. Nowhere near good enough against a poor Southampton side.

You're really stretching blaming the ref in any sense for that half. It was definitely not a pen, and it could've been a booking but was borderline. Nevertheless we got the foul. I didn't note any delays to warrant much extra time, and it's not as if we were peppering their goal was it.
