Brilliant save off a Charlie screamer.

Ref wouldn't have given it anyway....

that's mental. I can only think they don't have the camera angle available, which is unbelievable if so.

I actually have no idea what is going on now.
Why do we not have VAR in the match?

That’s a disgrace. Never offside and didn’t review it

That didn't look offside at all. Seems they didn't even check with VAR.

I think the officials are being paid off.

Unrelated to the ‘offside’ but the referees headset is goosed and he can’t hear VAR.

How is that unrelated to a VAR call?

VAR wouldnt matter since the ref blew the whistle before Wood scored. Not sure what the linesman was smoking, though.

I thought linemen were supposed to keep their flags down in that situation.

It's so bloody confusing these days.

When stuff like this happens and the whole Southgate not picking Tarks, it really does prick the paranoia in me that the powers that be really don’t want us in the top flight at all

Tell that to Man Utd after they were awarded a penalty after the final whistle today...

Referee had blown following the linesman flagging so play had stopped even though Wood carried on

Actually thinking about it I’m surprised Wood wasn’t booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle

The ref hadn't stopped play before the handball that VAR went back to was committed.

They are there was an incident in one of the afternoon games, and the player was miles offside, but the assistant didn't flag and it went to VAR even though it was an obvious call. That's the protocol they're supposed to follow. :?
