An hour gone. Dale Stephens gets a touch. First time I’ve heard his name tonight. Zzzzzzz
If you weren’t a fan of David Jones( I was) you’re unlikely to be a fan of his on this showing. He is not the answer to whatever the question was.

Get Brownhill in the middle, Stephens off, Dwight on the right and Pieters on the left.

Pieters on for Dwight and push Taylor ahead of him,
Taylor is the only player who looks like creating something. Dwight is way out of form.

Vydra off, no worse than anyone, but he isn't getting much joy - especially with high balls.
Pieters at left back, Taylor left mid, Dwight right mid ( cutting in ) and Brownhill attacking midfield. Crap, we don't have much to throw in the pot in respect to changes - other than a whacky shuffle to overload the middle instead of high crosses to nowhere.

He won't be very happy if he's subbed on his debut, unless he knows he's unfit.

Two poor teams here. I'd be more worried if my team was the one that's at full strength and isn't ravaged by injuries.

Southampton don’t need to be anything other than ordinary. They scored after 5 minutes away from home. Job done and thank you very much we’ll settle for that.

Just going through the motions. No thought no belief and no gut busting... midfield has been completely out of touch.
We have a new midfield and a second string centre back pairing. But this is poor.

People will no doubt have a go at Long and Dunne tonight (for some reason), but it’s been the midfield and strike force that has been totally non descript/ineffective.
The defence has done OK overall.
