I think Rangers would ask for a bit more than that
Having said that I guess that Scotty will be happy staying at Rangers until he finishes his playing cateer

Anyone who scores away at Blackburn and Liverpool is a hero of mine.

Hall of fame material.
There really should never be mention of him without reference to Ewood

All enjoyable at the time they went in, some more enjoyable than others because of the results

Enjoying another Europa league win today against Liege in Belgium. Regular starter for them.

If anyone thinks he would still get in the team I’m happy to take them to Springfield hospital myself. It’s close by.

Yes he and Rangers played well tonight, and they are also going well in the league, this season might be when Scotty picks up his 1st silverware up north.

Tonight's like tonight are why Scotty went to Ibrox, he was never going to get regular European footy at Burnley, and Stevie G has clearly got something going at Rangers, of course they need to turn this promise into trophies, or Stevie will face more scrutiny at the end of the season again.

Scott Arfield was the embodiment of everything that was right about SD's early years.
i'm glad he's doing so well with Rangers. But we (and he ) have moved on.

I don’t think anyone apart from the op has even suggested that (and I think he was fishing). What has been suggested is that he was worth a 2 year extension at the time he chose to go to Rangers.
Anyway, all that needs to be said is that he’s a Burnley legend, whatever his current ability. On top of that he appears to be a great bloke.

Looks like he wasn't the only ex-player who had a good game:

Did we really pay around £350,000 for Bartley?

Considering his relatively late start at professional level he's had a pretty good career.

I'm sure I remember a game at the Turf where Bartley played like Vieira (might have won 4-2) and I thought we had a real talent on our hands, it was definitely a one off though.

Scot Arfield is a key midfielder at Rangers and they are off to a great start this season. Hope he wins medals.

Great Claret.

Scot Arfield had talent, but he had tenacious streak in him, a huge will to win and fight for things.
When your in your seat watching your team, those are qualities you wish every player had.
He was a great Burnley player, and provided some spectacularly memorable moments. I too wish him continued success at Rangers.

Has anyone seen the clip his brother recorded of his goal at Ewood? It’s brilliant
