An honest, low-key report, just like the game!?

I’m convinced they will. Just that last night was almost a non event.Longsidelenny1882 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 5:59 pmResults will get better tony just for you upthecolne utc

Agreed, and I can't help think if the crowd would have been there, it might have gone another way as second have certainly let them players know about it , and then urge them on. Especially under the lights.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 6:09 pmI’m convinced they will. Just that last night was almost a non event.

It’ll get better. We’ve just got to get through this season, hopefully we’ll be allowed another couple of bodies in and let’s scrap to stay up.
It’s odd because I’m almost wishing my life away at the moment. I can’t tell you how much I want to fast forward to August 2021 when we’re starting a new season on the Turf and this pandemic is nothing but a horrible memory.

Horrible having to watch the games on tv all the time although I’m thankful we can. Let’s hope we soon reach the day when it’s safe to fill the Turf again.ksrclaret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 6:17 pmIt’ll get better. Cant see us getting anything at Newcastle, fail to beat WBA and we're down. We need at least 4 new signings who are good enough to go straight in to the starting 11, Stevens wasn't good enough for Brighton its an unbelievable signing! Benson looks quality, would much rather play him than a ageing player who wouldnt get in any other side in the league! We should be trying to improve the squad!

Down after four games? Seems a bit OTT. Admittedly we could do with points from those sort of games but there's still another 34 games to come after them.Blackburn_Claret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 6:19 pmCant see us getting anything at Newcastle, fail to beat WBA and we're down. Agree though that we certainly need signings in the next 8 days

Dale won more tackles than any player on either team according to reports and could have scored
Our issues are Dwight drifting off the wing and our midfield not passing quicker to play in our strikers

I agree down is extreme but after the 4 games yielding no points it's wise to suggest we would be considered strong candidates.matttheclaret wrote: ↑Sun Sep 27, 2020 6:23 pmDown after four games? Your final sentence sums it up Tony. The excitement has gone. I couldn’t agree more.

When is the next winnable game after those? Fulham? Whats laughable? Fail to beat those two and we're in big trouble.
