Burnley.....
Yes a failure this week to bring first teamers in and I can see us really struggling. Aside from Sheff Utd every other team has moved forward and improved this window.

I can remember one poster on here last season saying that Stoke City were doomed and heading for League 1.
It was the end of August and they had played 5 games!

This season doesn't end until the end of May next year and there will be a lot of ups and downs along the way.

Perhaps Fulham might go down again but if their chairman is determined to keep them up then who knows. We need to get our own house in order to avoid having to scrap around the bottom of the league with these teams.

I recall statements coming out of Fulham after they had won the play-off final that there would be no major spending or restructuring of the squad that had won them promotion. Just a few matches in and the owner presses the panic button.

Fulham will get cut adrift before too long. I’d expect the gap from 10th to 18th to be majorly tight this year. I reckon all teams in those places could still drop with 5 or 6 to play. Results will be all over the place this season.

Only West Brom/Fulham are lacking something. You can argue the case for every other to have a good chance of surviving.

Should they get into trouble, and currently it’s just a difficult start, I think their saving grace will be that they don’t concede many goals.
That's been our saving grace too when we have struggled previously.
