The next 30 years is going to make the Cold War seem like kids play fighting. We need tough leaders. (no, I don’t like Trump despite the above balanced view on him)

Queens has tough neighbourhoods but where Trump was brought up wasn't one of them.

I’m sure many Americans love all this hype and hysteria. Would be nice if all extremist groups or their extreme elements( including white supremacists, BLM and Antifa) are called out by both candidates. Freedom of speech is good but violence and vandalism are not.

Spot on mate. Biden has had 47 years in government and done nothing. I suppose these posters don't know about trump's platinum plan for the black community and if they do they've not praised it in anyway. We need to acknowledge that both sides are responsible for acting inappropriately,of that there is no doubt. However it seems that some on here are suggesting that it is wrong to support Anti Fascists like my Father did back in the Thirties and then when he volunteered (didn't wait for call up) to fight against them in WW2. And there is also a suggestion by some, again on this board, that being one of these Proud Boys is OK despite the fact that to any sane individual they are clearly racist and I guess will favour white supremacy. Back to the debate....

I can only see that as a clear win for Biden. Not because he did anything more than a steady performance but because of Trumps refusal to address the questions and take the opportunity to appeal to undecided voters. His behaviour and remarks may have gone down well with his core but I can’t see how he could possibly have gained any voters and most certainly would have lost black and female voters.
