But at least him not scoring has made you happy

He also uncharacteristically failed to get on the end of a cleverly taken quick free kick early in the game. I would have put my house on him scoring that when on form. Apparently the assistant’s flag was up, but you’re quite right that he had a few half decent chances in the game. I thought his return to the side was a real positive.

Strange, cos I'm quoting you:

Perhaps you don't see that as a comment about their wealth. It doesn't really matter because my comment was more about the wealth of the two clubs, not individual players, and the style of play.

If you said we had lost to billionaires I would have known you meant the Arabs. You said we lost to millionaires so I assumed you meant the players. My bad.
