They are my nearest English league club (living just over the Border nr Lockerbie) but they are a strange club. Bit like us but without any optimism.

No I know it's hard to believe but I have not met an optimistic Carlisle fan. I know a few and none of them expect anything other than at best survival.

Used to love travelling up to Carlisle for our games there. Have a soft spot for them as they have had so many kicks in the teeth over the years... I also want Barrow to do well, I’d be happy with a draw.

Carlisle won the Cumbrian derby, Rovers couldn't even beat 10 man, Stanley got an impressive win on the road.
And in the Welsh Premier TNS hit 10 without reply against Flint Town United.
