No surprise we're playing badly. Barnes always takes a while to get in form and Stephens is learning. This is why you make signings early.

Be good if we can go half time 1-0.

If only we had a £15m defender who could slot in at LCB and get Tarks at RCB.

Brownhill isn't supporting Bardsley and because of that, he's struggling. I think we need to get JBG on if he's fit enough.

Feel sorry for Dwight, lad looks absolutely bereft of confidence - and I’ve no idea why?

Dyche long ball tactics as his default method of playing has always been his weakness combined with the fact that he seems to have given up motivating the team and who can blame him when he isn't get the support from the board

They're pulling us apart. Do we have to wait till christmas again before we look like a premier league side?
My question is already... can we keep hold of players to get us back up?

Maybe because the whole team is reliant on him producing an attacking outlet?

We literally have not other attacking outlet on the pitch

They seem to be targeting Long.........

.....and Stephens is poor (so far)

1/2 time move Brownhill inside. Put someone else on the right.

If it’s not working keep doing the same thing. I thought it might be hoofball with Barnes starting. We are not allowed to change things until after the 65th minute don’t you know ?

Decent finish by Barnes but offside. He did look quite sharp there to say he’s been out ages.

Such a player would be an absolute extravagance... Imagine having a player like that sat on the bench waiting to cover for injuries etc... surely we couldn't afford that? ;)

Nah.... we can't/won't pay that much for a first team starter let alone cover.

I love Sean to bits, but I do wonder if his constant negativity and belittling of our business model for the last 6 months has rubbed off on the players at all.

Every manager in the world wants more money to work with, even Guardiola I dare say. Sadly you’d have thought he’d become used by now to our modus operandi, but his absolute naffed off-ness for the last 12 months cannot be conducive to a happy camp, particularly with how bad it’s been over the summer.

That’s as much down to Garlick’s ridiculous boundaries on finance as much as Dyche’s worry for how a bad season will negatively effect his brand image and career prospects.
Logged in to say just this. Understand Dyches frustrations but his constant sniping is tiresome and must affect the squad

Dyche has been good at Insulating the team with his frustrations with the board but wondering if he's given up and it's translating onto the dressing room and the pitch.
