We are being slated by the commentators on Sky and rightly so. Think they are shocked how bad we are.

Hahaha that pass from Dale Stephens to Westwood. Nearly cocked up a 5 yarder.

Totally agree. And he sparked Wayne Rooney out so got to be a top bloke.

Painful on the eyes is this. We've not been this flat in a long time. Nobody seems bothered. Is it the lack or crowd?

I know people knock the chairman and board... this is down to Sean Dyche. This is his style of football. Take it or leave it, you won't get better.
The style of football has never been my issue, it’s got us results.

What ive watched tonight (thus far) appears to be a squad as naffed off with the act of playing for Burnley as the manager has made it clear he is at managing us.

Personally I’d take Barnes off and bring on JBG and go five across the middle with Stephens in front of back four
yeah we could do that !

Also, I need to learn how to spell Stephens !! lol

The long passing clearly isn't working. Dyche needs some big tactical changes here.

Worst first half performance in a long time. Thank christ we are only 1 down. The good news is if we improve slightly in the 2nd half we have a great chance because Newcastle dont look ewt special either.
Probably since the last game or game before.

He doesn't sniff the squad of any other premier league side, and he doesn't get in most championship first 11's. I think some people on here give him too much credit for passion and commitment tbh. He's not a whole lot better than I'm giving him credit for. He nearly got MoM against Leicester somehow even though between him and Long Harvey Barnes had an absolute field day. Taylor has been our best player at the back so far, hands down.

We haven't replaced Barton and Defour, midfielders who could pass forward into space to players on their own team.

One of if not the worst half of football (if you can call it that) that we have served up in years. The only saving grace is that we are still in the game. That is down to Newcastle being nothing special. Three of their players were risked and were carrying knocks coming into this and all three have complained and look crocked yet they still look head and shoulders better. Embarrassing.

Kevin Long is an embarassment. We really need to pull the stops out and get an experienced CH in as our No 3 choice in the next day or so,

All he does is hoof it. or square it, or adjust his hair

That was disgusting. I’ve got used to us at least playing with a high intensity off the ball but this has been a stroll. Really not acceptable and that’s regardless of our lack of transfer activity.

Tough watch. Again. Wish we wouldn’t play on Saturday nights -spend all day apprehensive followed by being in a bad mood all Sunday.
We need a better option at Centre half than Long.
I’d sooner have Dunne there.
Let’s hope things pick up second half. It only takes a second to score a goal.
Funny how Vydra is so often the fall guy, he does at least make decent runs.
