You really have to be a Burnley fan to watch this.
Square pass, square pass x 3 more than hoof it or back to Pope and then hoof it.
I have started trying to count how many times we can pass it in their half before we lose it - I don't need two hands.

The masses aren't happy

Time for Dyche to earn them 5m a year wages.

Sort it out Sean, it's not acceptable.

I normally try and find the positives, but even I can't put a gloss on that 45 mins of dross, we need to get Brownhill in the centre, and bring Brady or Guddy on, and Vydra for Ash Barnes wouldn't go amiss either, we're fortunate it's only 1 a more clinical team would have bagged 3 or 4 in the 1st half,

Nothing will change after half time. Remember last Saturday night we just kept on doing the same thing again and again.

What makes it even worse is Newcastle are Schite and there for the taking if we get our finger out in the second half..

I'm baffled why Brownhill has been pushed out wide again given his performances in the middle. Need that bit of creativity and eye for a pass forward that he offers in the middle.

He doesn't sniff the squad of any other premier league side, and he doesn't get in most championship first 11's. I think some people on here give him too much credit for passion and commitment tbh. He's not a whole lot better than I'm giving him credit for. He nearly got MoM against Leicester somehow even though between him and Long Harvey Barnes had an absolute field day. Taylor has been our best player at the back so far, hands down.
If, after watching the last few games you think Bardsley is the problem I'd have a harder look at about 8 other players around him.
Do I want a new right back, yes.
Lowton needs to go, Bardsley is a more than capable deputy for a year or two.

Sorry, but Sean Dyche should make a MASSIVE difference here. Fans love to keep blaming the board - is it ******** anything to do with them - SD should be paid enough to make decisions and do things that help us.

Some managers can see straight away what needs to be changed - he doesn't see it.

Big chat about Long getting fouled for their goal move.

In truth, I probably would normally be whistled.
In reality, Long was soft.

NBC comms have us down for relegation and who can argue with that. We look even worse after watching Leeds and City.

That was disgusting. I’ve got used to us at least playing with a high intensity off the ball but this has been a stroll. Really not acceptable and that’s regardless of our lack of transfer activity.
Agree, no high press in this at all. A lot of feeling sorry for themselves it looks like

I think pretty much everyone's been hopeless aside from perhaps Taylor in the last few games. With all players available, I think RB is comfortably our weakest position yes.

I'd prefer Dunne was playing over Long. Alongside Tarks he can learn and be nurtured. Long offers nothing and is no better than Dunne. Dunne clearly has potential and he has the fight but if he is getting pushed down the pecking order by the bang average Long then you can imagine him wondering where his future lies.

Need to go JBG for Stephens for me. If we play anywhere near that bad in the second half then we can write off any chance of a point.

If you’ve got 3 central midfielders on who can pass it, why not do so? Build more patiently knowing we have two players who are a threat.

That IS Dyche’s doing, if that is his current strategy (and I believe it is).

I love what Sean has done for this club, but the constant prickly, tense attitude and digs at our club when he earns what he earns have grated on me. He knew the score when we took him off the dole queue and gave him a job, we have made him as much as he has made us - but the love is all one way.

At this point I feel Dyche genuinely is bothered about his brand, career prospects and image more than the current results. He is making all our behind the scenes issues public to protect that brand image so that if we get relegated he can still get a Premier League job and blame any perceived failures this season on ‘Burnley being Burnley’.

Missing our spine isn’t helping.
Mee, Cork and JRod bring the experience and ability we are lacking.
For all Wood’s goals JRod has been our standout up front since Xmas. He ties it all together, something Barnes and Wood can’t do. I said pre-match he should have started Matty because he offers something different to Wood & Barnes, pace.

The style of football has never been my issue, it’s got us results.

What ive watched tonight (thus far) appears to be a squad as naffed off with the act of playing for Burnley as the manager has made it clear he is at managing us.
I know it looks like that at the moment, BUT (big but) he's getting paid shed loads of money to inspire and energise his squad, so that really shouldn't even be a factor.
