no chance Mee or Tarks would have stopped that, it would have been an OG if Long had been able to keep up. Barnes just lofting it up into the middle of the park and the lad's pace caught us all out. If anything Barnes shitness in not pumping long was the problem.

Good run from stmax, neat touch and pace sells Charlie but there's players back there.

Our defence is woeful at the moment

This is utter rubbish. Don’t be fooled thinking we played well for first 15 mins of second half, Newcastle let us.

“Jeff’s looking for a club where can play in the middle” said his Ireland manager when it was said he was leaving us.

Interesting.

Don't be daft. It's really frustrating we conceded so early after equalising, but we were demonstrably better in the first 15 mins. Much more purpose, energy and accuracy in our passing.

I’m not being daft. We equalised and Newcastle immediately got back on top and have been since.

No they didn't, we took the initiative, give us some credit. St Max is a good player.

were playing a club with more resources, who can afford anyone of our players and their wages against us that might be able to afford 1-2 of their bench warmers - its always at this level for us David v Goliath - not sure what people are expecting results wise.
The performances are now a result of all premiership teams have 100% worked us out / know exactly what we are going to do and know we have a distinct lack of pace, quality and creativity.

It’s like when we had Charlie Austin - lump it and crosses, very one dimensional

Game. Set. Match. We had 10 good minutes and the rest has been dross. Pope has been terrible, as has the majority of the side.
