Re: Bedwetting
Its not the players fault, And nobody has slated the players.
Its the people behind the scenes and on the sideline that are most accountable. And ultimately those same people letting those same players down!
Pope, Tarkowski, McNeil, Wood et al. They deserve to be complimented by some good, young, hungry, dynamic players. Both manager AND board need to shoulder responsibility for them being run into the ground and having no options to help them!

Not the players fault?
They can take some of the blame, they're the ones on the pitch.

Let me me know if it's ok to make you laugh - There's an Elm street in Burnley.. looks like we have to make each other laugh.Dark Cloud wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 10:25 pmBed wetter here!! (Or was I watching Nightmare on Elm street and not Newcastle v Burnley earlier??)

Re: Bedwetting
Probably worded it wrong. But its not ENTIRELY the players fault. Its not their fault that the squad is ageing and underinvested.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 10:23 pmNot the players fault?

Sure they put the effort in or not. But nobody has really slated the players is my point.

Re: Bedwetting
Please stick to the script Dinks ie hysterical overreactions /we’re all sh1t/ too old / Dyche out / Garlick out / hoof ball.
Many on the board soil themselves daily , often voluntarily so a few more sodden beds won’t be an issue

Re: Bedwetting
Of course it’s partly their fault. They are highly paid PL players and tonight they couldn’t pass the ball, control the ball, they had no pace. These things normally disappear against top 6 sides. Newcastle are a long way from that level.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 10:22 pmIts not the players fault, And nobody has slated the players.
I’m not a bedwetter. We’ll be fine when we get our first team back.

Re: Bedwetting
I lived on Elm Street when I returned to Lancashire after my 6 year stint as a student in Leeds. Oh, the jokes, yes I had a few nightmares.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 10:28 pmLet me me know if it's ok to make you laugh - There's an Elm street in Burnley.. looks like we have to make each other laugh.
Best part was being able to walk to the Turf and back with a few pints in the Talbot both ways.

Re: Bedwetting
i think posters who accuse others of bedwetting should have the decency to make sure these unfotunate souls have pampers sent round.

Re: Bedwetting
what you're saying doesn't really mean anything.
If you come on a messageboard about Burnley, and its contributors are clarets, what do you expect ?
the goings on are clearly issues fans discuss, saying "back our boys" isn't a thing is it. how exactly would that work?

True story, last time I ****** the bed was as a young adult. I got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes soon after so if this is you then I suggest you get to the doctors very quickly. It is one of the signs, uncontrollable ******* because your blood sugar level is skyrocketing.

We are only a couple of players short though, we have a higher number of injured players.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 10:34 pmProbably worded it wrong. But its not ENTIRELY the players fault. Its not their fault that the squad is ageing and underinvested.

The players let themselves and the club down tonight apart from a brief spell after half time.
