Tonights football

Post by huw.Y.WattfromWare » Wed Oct 14, 2020 5:05 pm

Brady and Long on the bench. Better news on Kevin after his facial injury in previous match.

B P-F starts for NI.

Is JBG injured as well? Not in line up and not even on the bench!

Vydra starts for the CR at Hampden, and he's just missed a sitter from 4 yards out, this is why he'll never be a regular when everyone is fit.

Scotland 1-0 to the good, they're on a roll just now.

Halftime summary from BBC Roddy Forsyth: it should be 1-1 but Matej Vydra the Blackburn striker put his shot wide.

In other news the Burnley striker also set up two goalscoring opportunities for his teammates with a couple of sublime touches.

Vydra's been lively, but yet again he's lacking the finishing instinct. He should have bagged a couple tonight, but he's fluffed his lines when the chances came.

Now he's been subbed.

Wins for Scotland and Wales, defeats for England & both Irelands.

Elsewhere goals for Lewandowski & Lukaku again, their records are outstanding at international level.
