Tarky never looks as accomplished on the left side. At the very least I'd be moving him back to right centre back so we get the very best out of him.

Who plays with him? That's slightly trickier. On the grounds that Long is nowhere near the required standard, and Dunne is probably not ready for this level yet, I'd try Pieters with Tarkowski at centre back. He's a solid defender and played plenty of football at this level, which makes him a better bet than the other two.

Not ideal by any means but until Mee comes back, I think that might be our best bet.

Glad to see Jay back in contention, I think we play better football when he is in the team. Regarding the centre back position, I would like to see Dunne given a chance alongside Tarks. We've played young lads before who have proved to be great successes, why not give him a real go, he looked OK in what I have seen of him.

Ben mees the main player missing
Hes our best defender
Yes it's telling that we've only kept 2 clean sheets in our 9 PL games since his absence, we badly need him back alongside Tarks ASAP, but equally we don't want to rush his return and risk losing him again for longer, I've no doubt that when he's fit SD will pick him, he's a vital cog to the Clarets machine, and it's not just his defending, top notch though that often is, it's his command of the back line and his presence in the captain's role that we're sorely missing.

I think Dyche will play Wood & Barnes until the end of his Burnley time

Wood has a great record against his old clubs which include Leicester and WBA. He must start. Suspect Barnes will partner him-I would tell Barnes to go flat out and then sub him around 55 minutes unless we are winning and he is having a blinder

If Longs eye is still bad would play Dunne at back

Hopefully he will play the best 2, which IMO is Wood and Jay Rod.
Barnes is a great lady 20 minute player to either see out the game by winning free kicks, holding the ball up, winding down the clock, and winding up the opposition, or when we are chasing a game and needing to get up the field, winning free kicks, and giving their defenders not a seconds rest.
