Ben Mee is the best

Post by Im_not_Robbie_Blake » Fri Oct 16, 2020 10:21 am

Ben Mee is currently Burnley’s best player.
He is an exemplary captain and a credit to the club.
His contribution cannot be emphasised too much.
He is one of Burnley’s all-time greats.
He would be the answer to England’s defensive problems (with Nick and James alongside him).

I'm sure you all agree.

Remember the whole team once filmed on the bus with Joey Barton leading them, singing to the tune of "hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work we go"

Only two words used - Ben Mee

Looked brilliant but Ben was clearly a bit embarrassed

Not wrong

There was also another song along the lines of "a message to you". But the other still applies - will hope someone can get a video

The leadership he showed after the discraceful All Lives Matter incident at Man City and his commitment to the Black Lives Matter movement is all you need to know about Ben Mee

Absolute legend who leads by example both on and off the pitch

You're confusing the two.

There was certainly the "message to you" song filmed on the team bus, led by Joey Barton, but the "Ben Mee, Ben Mee, Ben Mee" song to the tune of "hi-ho" was first sung by the fans at Fulham during the last promotion season.

So, yes you are wrong.

Absolute hero and loyal gladiator of our club who has got better and better. He lacks a yard of pace which is why he would be exposed in international football

Had a period where he was making a bad mistake every game, usually involving giving the ball away but generally very solid.
When he's out we miss him but that's more a sign of not improving squad depth more then anything.
Good player for us, but not our best player, wouldn't be with us for so long if he were better.
