Points in next 4 games?
So the international break has concluded and it's back to the real footy, and it's vital we put points on the board as soon as possible, otherwise we're in danger of being cast adrift.
Our 4 fixtures prior to the next international break are.
WBA (a)
Spurs (H)
Chelsea (H)
Brighton (a)
I'd say we could really do with a minimum of 5 points out of that quartet, ideally we'd be hoping for more, but even a victory and a couple of draws will keep us in touch with most of the stragglers.
I'll predict the following, bearing in mind my Super6 hunches have been terrible this season.
WBA 1-1 draw this won't be one for the purists, but as long as we emerge with something at least we'll have a foothold into our season.
Spurs 2-1 win. IDK why but I've got a funny feeling we'll turn them over, their record at TM isn't great and although they've improved this campaign, you still sense they are a work in progress, and their defence doesn't convince me, the difficulty could be keeping them out at the other end, but hopefully we'll have a few boys back by the time they roll up at the turf.
Chelsea 0-3 reverse I can't see us troubling them unduly, and they've got a wealth of firepower that we'll struggle to contain.
Brighton I can see us nicking a 1-1 here. we've got a decent record at the Amex, and for all the talk about them improving they'll still be in the mix come the end of the season, so a share of the spoils wouldn't be a bad outcome for us.

This sums it up pretty well tbh.
It's all going to depend on who's fit and firing for these games.
I think 4

Maybe get a draw with Brighton, can’t see a lot else. So much depends on Ben Mee’s return
Chelsea and Spurs will be too strong, West Brom are excellent in attack and anything out of this would be good

I'll be delighted if we get four.
Sadly, I think it'll be one.

I think 1 or 2.
But knowing us we could very well come and win them all.
Who knows?

Last year 6, this year 1, and would expect to concede a minimum of 10 goals
Re: Points in next 4 games?
I’m going for 5, but if we don’t get anything against West Brom, I’ll be pressing the panic button

Yeah, ditto. I’m just aiming to beat Derby’s record at the moment....ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 2:59 pmI'll be delighted if we get four.

Re: Points in next 4 games?
Hoping for 12.
Be happy with four, ecstatic with six.
I’m not sure “away” counts in the current climate. Neither does “home”. I’m just looking at the teams and seeing where we should be taking points.

Re: Points in next 4 games?
Would be happy with 4, delighted with 5, think we will get 2, but hope we can get at least 3.
My recent betting sucess, I would suggest I'll be totally wrong so expect 6 or 1!

At least seven points - starting with a win tomorrow.

I'll be staggered if we win tomorrow. I'd take a win on Monday though.evensteadiereddie wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 5:37 pmAt least seven points - starting with a win tomorrow.

2. 3 at best. We didn’t strengthen enough. The PL doesn’t stand still when we do.

If we get 0 out of 12 in the next 4 games will SD and the board STILL think we have enough at the club to survive ??

Re: Points in next 4 games?
We tend to not start to get going until after Christmas in this league.
So I'll go for 1 point.
