West Brom versus MIGHTY CLARETS

Post by IanMcL » Mon Oct 19, 2020 3:27 pm

Making her first official appearance of the season, our Madge, fresh with her new contract, is earing to lead us to 3 points and a new lift off for our season.
Let's get 100% behind our heroes.

Come on you Clarets!

Excellent news. I've always had a dislike of the Baggies ever since Frank Skinner was quite arrogant and dismissive of us when we first got promoted. So it is great to have Madge back.

Normal matchday service is resumed at last, let's hope the same is true on the pitch, and we start climbing the league ASAP.

Setting off in 15 mins to watch the match in the Underground bar in Ibensa Square along with the rest of the Benalmadena Clarets. I'm actually going out in long trousers (as opposed to shorts) for the first time since April.

Defence is a worry obviously, but pretty much first choice elsewhere which is good.

Hegazi and Ivanovic at CB for West Brom, neither played since July, Wood and Barnes should be a handful for them, especially Ivanovic being 36 as well.

Heard today that Wayne Rooney was self isolating as he had been in contact with a "Josh Bardsley" who had tested positive for Covid..I know Rooney is a mate of Phil..is there a connection?

It was a Josh Bardsley that went to Rooneys home, knowing he had the virus. Am I correct in thinking he is related to Phil? Isolating?

Edited. Post - CORRECTION:

Misread the club message, it says Bardsley's isolating following a postive test, doesn't say it's him

No need to shout...

I posted originally because I misread a message from the club which I thought said he himself had tested positive. I had seen the stuff about his brother but the club posted something on social one minute before my post here. I quickly realised that I had misread the club's message and edited my post as to not spread misinformation.

No need to jump down my throat.
