Outstanding to see Ian and Madge back again .
So the weather report from the West Coast of Ireland is a shocker , it has rained all day .
17 likes I think backs that up. As someone posted, the season never got started on here until he created the main match thread.

Preferring the midfield line up ( long time since I thought that) defence is clearly a worry though. Hope Long doesn’t have another howler but good that Erik can fill in anywhere.

Hegazi and Ivanovic at CB for West Brom, neither played since July, Wood and Barnes should be a handful for them, especially Ivanovic being 36 as well.
Both decent in the air though, they obviously know what's coming.

No Charlie Austin for WBA? Is he injured?

Not sure about injury but certainly not in favour anymore, move to Derby fell through on deadline day.

That's a relief then he was likely to score against us.

An injury free game for Gudmundsson would be a big boost for his confidence .
Dyche saying the team have worked really hard this week. Come on you Clarets !

Like I say, he's one of our best players. One of the first names on the teamsheet when he's not injured.

It's a strong enough line-up. I'm going for a 3-0 win.

Must break our ‘nil points’ today otherwise we could find ourselves adrift at the bottom very soon.

Someone said it was his brother that tested positive, but Bards was close contact so has to take precautions.

Both teams have started reasonably.
Burnley look lively. A couple of strange decisions by Gallagher, there....allowed the Baggy to get a run on us and then gave them a free kick when he got tangled up.

Brom have a few tidy footballers.

McNeil's skinning them down the left , but one of the front two needs to attack the front post .
