The Beeky Presentation

Post by ClaretTony » Wed Oct 21, 2020 12:15 pm

Pleased to report that the socially distanced presentation of the Alan Beecroft Player of the Year Trophy to Nick Pope has just been made by Alan's wife Georgina. I'll get some words on the site this afternoon but here's a photo of the two of them along with the trophy.

Our thanks to Georgina for making the presentation and to Matt Williams and, in particular, Pete Oliver at the football club for organising it.

The trophy is a lot smarter than some of the ones dished out at presentations.

Good work

It's been sat in my kitchen for the last nine days and I have to say the photographs don't do it justice.

What a lovely trophy. I think the size makes it all the better. Well done to all concerned.
