Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
Ah crud.
I’m lucky because I get them on a French subscription but essentially they’re making it more expensive to be a Burnley fan than, for example, a Yoonited or Liverpool fan.
It stinks.

I’m told the Brighton game will be brought forward. No details on the other two.

Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
It was said on Twitter that just 76 Burnley fans paid for the official stream for the West Beom game. Someone else tweeted they earned just over a 1k on subscription which would tally up with the 76 x 14.95.

No figures released. Anything seen on social media is pure speculation at best or just a made up figure.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:39 pmIt was said on Twitter that just 76 Burnley fans paid for the official stream for the West Beom game. There were plenty of streams. Because of my poor b’band I was jumping about but found streams on cricfree, nbcsn(via reddit) and hesgoal.
Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
I wouldn't have thought there would be a great deal taken on PPV games involving Burnley especially from neutral fansQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:39 pmIt was said on Twitter that just 76 Burnley fans paid for the official stream for the West Beom game. Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
The best ever take up was on the ITV Digital PPV channel. They showed Sheff Wed v Blackburn. The take up was zero.
Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November

Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
At least we won't all have to see our annual drubbing at City.
Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
Its not surprising after the WBA game. For a neutral fan it was a poor spectacle.

I paid £14.95 plus a £2.00 booking feeQuickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:39 pmIt was said on Twitter that just 76 Burnley fans paid for the official stream for the West Beom game. Someone else tweeted they earned just over a 1k on subscription which would tally up with the 76 x 14.95.

Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
This PPV makes it more expensive for fans of the smaller clubs then the bigger clubs who are always on sky and BT and don’t have to ever pay extra. Although I am not paying for any PPV games anyway as I am not an idiot and I know the internet exists. Although I do have OK internet speeds, feel for those who don’t have decent internet.

Re: ARTICLE: No TV selections for Burnley in November
It must cost a good deal more than £1k to stage the match. I suppose there is advertising revenue but are they staging these matches at a big loss?Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:39 pmIt was said on Twitter that just 76 Burnley fans paid for the official stream for the West Beom game. NOWTV have offered me three months subscription at £20 per month. It's a bit useless though if few Burnley matches are going to be shown on Sky. I think I will just stick to watching the highlights on MOTD and YouTube.
