Great finish, tbf...
I do wish the FA would take a hard stance on simulation (cheating) though.

Good stuff from Leeds. Mistake by keeper for first but high quality finish for second

Seem to recall Bamford being mocked as no good for us on here, despite Dyche only giving him about 5 minutes of football.

So you think he's better than what we have based on his start this season?

It’s funny isn’t it? No one at all on here rated him. Looks a class act tonight. Not a Sean player though. Perhaps that should tell us something?

Too much flair, not a one dimensional work horse and sounded a bit too soft for the manager ?

My point is more once we'd gone through the effort to get him in on loan we may as well have had a proper look at him.

I don't think anyone saw Bamford doing this in the Prem. He wasn't all that great for Leeds in the Championship and there was a lot of talk about them needed better if they were to go up. Fair play to him though, he's looking the part for them now.

Tbf Ashley Barnes never pulled up any trees in the Championship, for us or Brighton.

Stating the obvious, but you stop Grealish and Villa will really struggle.

Thought the goalless first half was good football from both sides
Then Leeds moved up yet another gear - pace and one touch passing left Villa on their knees

You've got to love the ex Claret player love in when one does a little bit of something (half a dozen games in the Premier League).

He wasn't good enough for us, that's a fact. It doesn't mean he isn't good enough for Lids now.

When Lids replace him in a season or 2, he'll be back in the Championship.

maybe he just wasn't right for us, like just about every loan under Sean Dyche?

Maybe he's just this year's Pukki and he'll score a few goals then fade back into obscurity.

Yes, however you want to portray it.

Put him with Vossen, Hennings even Stanislas if you want. They weren't good enough for us at the time.

Leeds were outstanding tonight. Their pace and movement will be too much for a lot of sides this season.
We couldn't cope with Sheffield United's movement last year at Brammall lane, this is next level.

Well we did alright against Liverpool last season, whose movement is on another level up with their front three.

Yeah and remember that goal Hendrick scored at Everton 3 years ago when we strung a few passes together. Next you'll be telling me that McNeil once gave the England RB the runaround

Liverpool play a lot different style and have far better individuals.
Liverpool have a lot in their locker but their biggest strength is the direct ball over the top and the speed of Mane and Salah running with it.
