Notice, no denial of convicted terrorist, Susan Rosenberg being a fund raiser of Black Lives Matter.

When raw , truth denying, nerves are touched!

Just the usual nonsense!
Whose nerves were touched? We don't care what you think about her. If anything all you're doing is proving that the word "terrorist" means nothing these days since you think antifa and BLM are terrorist ideologies.

You think I'm a terrorist. That's hilarious to me. You're so easily terrorised.

I don't have to enlighten anybody. I think he is an idiot. It's my opinion. The way he has behaved during the BLM saga this summer has gone a long way to cementing my opinion of him. The resident sandal wearers will be along anytime to shout me down. I'm going to pass the afternoon by watching the footy. Have a good one.
I wear sandals - I live in a hot country - and I agree with you.

As someone who has met Lewis and also used to think he was an arrogant knob, I can confirm he is. I won’t go into finer details but he had a hissy fit because things weren’t quite right when he was at the establishment where I met him (he was overheard by someone close to me). Part of the problem was having to “mingle” with normal people.

Absolutely phenomenal achievement, makes good drivers look average.

Best driver ever and a Brit to boot. Not many sports we're doing well at the moment either so a shining light for us.

Don't agree with bringing politics in to the sport but I couldn't care less about his affiliation, I watch racing to see good racing and he delivers. Hats off to him.

Retired NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik warns public Black Lives Matter fundraising is run by a terrorist

The “Black Lives Matter” movement is partnered with the nonprofit group, Thousand Currents. This is important because the Vice Chair of the Thousand Currents nonprofit, is Susan Rosenberg.

Susan Rosenberg is a convicted terrorist. In 1985, Rosenberg was convicted for possessing hundreds of pounds of explosives. She and her organizations involved in multiple robberies, police officer assassinations, and bombings.

Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison. She spent 16-years in federal prison before being pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office.

Kerik tells KUSI News that, “Rosenberg’s role in the ‘Family,’ as this confederation of white and black domestic terrorists called themselves, was to use her “white privilege” to do such things as acquire weapons, purchase vehicles, and rent apartments for safe houses and storage units for explosives and weapons.”

BLM - supported by Hamilton , funded by convicted terrorist.

Lewis Hamilton's tax dodging revealed in Paradise Papers

The four-time Formula 1 world champion reportedly 'dodged' VAT on a private jet

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/h ... 41061.html

Lewis Hamilton received a £3.7m VAT refund on his £16m private jet using an Isle of Man scheme, leaked documents reveal.

The four-time Formula 1 world champion apparently avoided taxes by setting up an artificial leasing business through which he “rented out” his private jet to himself.!

He's a supporter of Black Lives Matter. Black Lives Matter is a Marxist organisation one of which main aims is to overthrow capitalism.

Formula 1. You could not get a capitalistic and money orientated sport if you tried!!

Hypocrisy on stilts from the tax dodging multi millionaire!!

So what? By your definition LBC employs a terrorist while they also employed Nigel Farage. Can't help but notice you didn't have a problem when the white guy was benefiting.

Only just seen this very depressing thread after noticing a reference in the new BLM thread.

I'm not a big fan of Formula 1 but I have tuned in regularly this season to see a great British sportsman become the GOAT (in my biased opinion).

He might have some different political opinions to me but so what.

I suppose the utterly brilliant Andy Murray is too far past his best due to his injury problems to warrant an equally depressing he hates the English thread (he doesn't hate the English and he never has).

Well done Lewis Hamilton.

Yes but how come when Andy Murray has been championing equality for women in tennis he does not denounce the way that women were treated badly in the film Braveheart and also Mel Gibson’s dodgy personal life ?
Absolute hypocrite

Not sure he’s the GOAT yet. Schumacher got 91 wins in an era where there were fewer races. Absolutely no doubt Hamilton will be by the time he retires though.

Unbelievable British sportsman that should be universally admired and respected for his talent.

I suppose I never forgave Schumacher for driving Hill off the road to clinch one of his titles. I always thought Schu benefitted at least as much as Hamilton from having the best car. Hamilton completely overwhelmed Vettel when they had roughly equal cars and Vettel has never recovered.

Anyway, I'm no expert, but I think one time rival Alonso who is, had Hamilton down as at least equal GOAT at the start of the season. As you say, more people will agree if he keeps going.

Should’ve clarified, I’m no Schumacher fan. Broke my heart as a boy, crashing in to Hill like that. Still think that was deliberate and his very similar crash in to Villeneuve a few years later definitely was. Would’ve been 8 without that disqualification.

Luckily it’s a sign of Lewis’ ability, that despite the clear car advantage, he’s never needed to resort to such dirty tactics because he is never in sight of anyone else/those duels that put Schumacher under pressure. He won by 25 seconds from Bottas yesterday in the same car!!

The best driver of his generation hence being with the top team. Not really interested in his political views as he holds no sway in reality.

Schumacher went from having one of the best cars in 96 to a manufacturer, Ferrari, who was struggling to make much of an impact and their combination with Schumacher returned them to the top again eventually but it took 4 years to do so.

Hamilton won a title with Mclaren but then had a barren spell for 4 yrs where he failed to finish the season higher than 4th, which is when he eventually jumped ship to a better team/car.

I find a current champion joining a team with a lesser car and dragging it back to the top to be a bigger deal than failing to return a team to the top and jumping ship.

Hamilton absolutely schooled a 2 time World Champion in his first season making him cry on various occasions.

The current Mercedes had never won a thing before Hamilton arrived. They supplied engines etc to teams and won WC both team and drivers but the current team is it’s current state not a jot.

The main draw for Hamilton was Brawn and his genius. But let’s not pretend the car was as dominate as it is when he arrived.

I see him as a total personality void, in the one of the dullest sports known to man.

I applaud him using his platform to promote the BLM cause though, he would have know how this could have negatively affected his career.

To be fair F1 drivers are probably one the fittest athletes around today. It’s brutal physically and mentally to pilot an F1 car.

I’m no fan of Hamilton the person and think the praise he is receiving is way over the top, but you can’t deny that he is an excellent driver. He’s been fortunate that hes had the equipment to do the job with and I’d take the record wins/points haul with a little pinch of salt as you can’t compare the season now to a yesteryear due to the huge increase in races available and points for a win.

While F1 need to be fit for people to suggest they are “ some of the fittest athletes in sport “ is almost hilarious as it is preposterous . They have very tailored training for the ( often ) brutal requirements of a race, inc stamina and endless reaction /agility work and levels of concentration up there with a fighter pilot . However to compare them to the likes of prem footballers /rugby players /boxers /MMA fighters /cyclists etc is just silly . The sheer power and intensity of the aneorobic training in the above sports is something to behold .

Great stuff again from Lewis this year , yes we know he has the best car and he’s a bit of a melt but he’s very very quick , great? yes ,the greatest ? Not quite

Fitness is relevant to your sport. No good being a boxer fit marathon runner or a rugby playing hurdler etc, so silly to suggest they are not fit.

I remember when Schumacher was asked to come back, his neck muscles could not take the Gforce!

If you know anything about F1 drivers you will
Know they are way beyond the fitness level
Of a prem football player on just about every level.

It’s generally impressive what they put themselves through.

Part of that problem was testing was done in simulators and not the cars like he was used too, so his body couldn't get used to the Gforces again, which is a shame because he looked a shadow of his former self

He's a dull human being, trying to spice up his image. A very good racing car driver who drives the fastest racing car faster than some other people, who drive slightly slower racing cars. Yawn.

The exact same argument could be made about footballers. If Messi or Ronaldo or the greats of the past had been made to play their careers at middle order teams would they still be regarded as the best. We see Pope and Tarky unfavourably compared, especially when it comes to England call ups, to others in their positions but who play for the top 8 teams.

If those drivers in middle order cars were good enough they would be moving to front of the grid cars pretty sharpish. If Lewis wasn't achieving what Mercedes expect of him how long do you think they would give him before giving his ride to someone they thought would be faster?

Messi and Ronaldo are greats because of what they’ve done at the very highest level against other greats consistently. A far different sport to driving where the fastest car wins, I don’t see the skill gap in racing, very evenly matched drivers with the car doing the work.

Not sure I agree with you. To even get near F1 you have to be a great. In fact the chances of making it in formula one are probably far slimmer than getting in a lowly Serie A or LaLiga team. The comparison to Messi and Ronaldo is pretty valid. They wouldn't be doing much if they hadn't had good players surrounding them.

The sheer danger, personal drive, work and dedication is something that also gets overlooked. Footballers can lead pretty normal lives with minimal travel if they want too. They can have a family and have a lot of free time.

Not true in F1. You're training harder yourself, not with others. You're risking your life and you have to constantly travel and get accustomed to different conditions and time zones.

You know all the fuss made when England play in a tournament in hot conditions like Brazil or Japan? It takes them one or two weeks training to get accustomed. In F1 you need to train almost every day just to be able to cope with the sheer physical strain races put you under.
