Sky Arts
Anybody watch the Sky Arts channel .
Really good series on at the moment called "Music Icons" ..Telling the story of how groups and singers started off. Very informative indeed.

Re: Sky Arts
con --I often watch the channel when the music stuff is on, however, the art and film stuff is of no interest at all and there seems to be more and more of that than there used to be.

Great for music when it's on though.

There is a documentary on The Jam on Saturday night followed by a live concert.

Re: Sky Arts
The problem is, as some of you will recall, that there used to be Sky Arts 1 & 2. One of them used to be mainly "popular culture", whilst the other was more "classical", art, opera, ballet, documentaries etc. Since merging, there's obviously a wider spectrum of programmes available, and therefore many more programmes that probably don't appeal to any one person.Ashingtonclaret46 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 2:06 pmcon --I often watch the channel when the music stuff is on, however, the art and film stuff is of no interest at all and there seems to be more and more of that than there used to be.
On the other hand it's now free, and I usually find 3 or 4 programmes per week that I set my timer to record, so I'm quite happy.
