Re: Photo in tonight's programme
Don't think I've ever seen that particular photo before. I know there were major problems between Harry Potts and Jimmy Adamson some years later but they are a long way from each other there.

That’s just social distancing CTClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 7:45 pmDon't think I've ever seen that particular photo before. I know there were major problems between Harry Potts and Jimmy Adamson some years later but they are a long way from each other there.

That's a brilliant photo. My dad and grandad were there and my dad still has the programme.

My grandad too, he was the catalyst for my, so far, 50 year support of the club.Billy Balfour wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 7:56 pmThat's a brilliant photo. My dad and grandad were there and my dad still has the programme.

It’s habit now tbh. Everytime a see a tv programme or photo I think “Why are they togethe.....oh time existed before Covid”. What a time it was too.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 7:50 pmBrilliant
Sadly that's what Lord and Adamson did with Potts in the end.

Even though it's been devalued over the years, I still think the FA Cup is the finest domestic cup competition in the world. I mean, just look at the excitement generated for those none-league clubs in tonight's First Round Draw. A tradition that goes back nearly 150 years. You can shove your Champions League.

Your grandad still has the programme...? he must be a good age.Pimlico_Claret wrote: ↑Mon Oct 26, 2020 8:12 pmMy grandad too, he was the catalyst for my, so far, 50 year support of the club.

Slightly off topic - I’m a new paying subscriber to Clarets+ but can’t for the life of me find the link on the website for the match programme! Can anybody point me in the right direction please?
