Pope 6

Lowton 6 - did well considering he hasn't had much football recently.
Long 8
Tarkowski 8
Taylor 7

JBG 6
Brownhill 7
Westwood 6
McNeil 7 - don't think he was as bad as some are making out. Many of our good moments came when he was involved...he's just carrying a lot of weight.

Wood 7
Barnes 5 - does a job but would prefer to see Jay up top with Wood at the moment. Jay brings more out of McNeil too.

Pope 6-little to do, better distribution, but nearly a big clanger
Lowton 6-had a fair game
Long 7-good game, possibly at fault for goal, but it was superbly taken
Tarkowski 8, almost back to his best
Taylor 6-steady, needs to work on his crosses, and vary them, never hits it hard and low across the goal
McNeil 6, quiet game,
Westwood 6
Brownhil 7, thought he got in where it hurts.I think Cork will struggle to displace him
JBG 6-glimpses of what he can do. Him and McNeil, never switched round all night
Wood 6. Good tactics by Spurs to nullifyy
Barnes 6-see Wood

The best performance of the season so far. We deserved at least a point. Lots of positives. Keep the faith!

Pope 7 - Nothing much to do. Needs to stop listening to England coaching about playing out from the back - it's cost us one goal already and nearly another last night.
Lowton 7 - Did ok - I thought spurs would have targeted him, but most of their threat came centrally - he didn't get much chance to cross the ball
Long 7- a good game against Kane and Son, but could have got tighter to Son for the goal
Tarkowski 8 - very assured and so unlucky with the goal line effort
Taylor 7 - very good defensively - didn't get forward too often
McNeil 6 - got caught in possession a couple of times and ran into dead ends - i would like him further out left
Westwood 6 - grafted as usual - like to see him hold onto the ball more rather than sideways/backwards passes
Brownhil 6 - daft booking in record time - terrible free kick - some good work, but i'd have replaced him with Stephens at half time
JBG 7 - much improved, especially first half - tired in the second half and should have been replaced earlier
Wood 7 - Difficult night without too many opportunities - ran the channels and held the ball up well, as usual
Barnes 6 - Did ok in the first half, but faded in the second

Subs - JRod needed to be on much earlier - Vydra had 90 seconds - just madness!! My frustration with Dyche's subs approach continues - he only considers a change when we go behind - so blinkered
